Shipping,Handling and Delivery of Harvest

Geisha Gold Coffee  ("Geisha Gold", "Geisha Gold Coffee", "the Seller") grants tree owners the right to the totality of the harvest of the sold trees. Geisha Gold agrees to take care of the trees during their lifespan, deal with the operation of the farm where they are planted, and deliver the harvest to the Buyer. While Geisha Gold takes the best possible care of the trees, no warranties are implied as to the lifespan of the trees, or yield of the harvest. Estimates will be provided as to have the Buyer informed, but no warranties are to be derived from such information. Delivery of the harvest will be executed according to the following conditions:

  1. The buyer agrees to pay a yearly fee of $20 per tree, which is to be used to cover operational costs of harvesting, processing, and packing of the bags of coffee. If for any reason such fee is not paid, Geisha Gold will deduct the fee from the total value of the harvest as follows: If the buyer does not pay the annual fee, the harvest will be processed and sold in the best possible conditions of the market. The profits will be used to cover the yearly fee. If after this process there is still remaining balance, the seller with the next harvest. If there is profit beyond the costs of maintenance, such profit will be either send to the buyer in the bank account of his/her choice, or if the buyer wishes, the Seller can keep it to cover future maintenance fees. In the case of a bank transfer, the associated fees will be paid by the buyer. 
  2. The buyer will be given options as to how he or she wants to receive the harvest. The default is coffee beans roasted and packed in one (1) pound bags. The Buyer needs to provide information as to the level of roasting desired, and packaging. If no information is provided, Geisha Gold Coffee will send the coffee in our default presentation.
  3. The buyer will pay for the shipping costs of the harvest. Arrangements as to which method of delivery is preferred should be discussed with Geisha Gold. Buyers can inform Geisha Gold via email at info@geishagoldcoffee.com as to which method of delivery is to be used.
  4. The buyer will provide Geisha Gold with the desired address of delivery, as well as the name to be shown in the bags of coffee.

If the buyer wishes to change the address or names provides, he or she will provide a note to Geisha Gold expressing such intention. 

  1. The seller will not be liable in any way for any delay, non-delivery or default in shipment due to labor disputes, transportation shortage, delays in receipt of material, priorities, fires, accidents and other causes beyond the control of the Seller.
  2. The buyer rights to the harvest are transferable if the buyer decides to do so. A note should be sent to the seller in order to fulfil the buyer's intention to transfer rights over harvest.
